To apply the cornstarch to the hair, use a blush brush and lightly dust the roots of the hair with cornstarch. Leave on the roots for 5 minutes and then brush out with a hair brush. The cornstarch will absorb all of the oil and your oily hair will be fresh and new again for the rest of the day.

If cornstarch is not on hand, baby powder will achieve the same end result. Baby powder tends to brush out a little more difficultly than cornstarch so take a few extra moments and brush a few extra strokes.
