Hot Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester is seen here extending her versatile talent on the set of another drama “The Roommate” in Los Angeles. Leighton is currently working on this film which is a teen thriller that sees her co star, Minka Kelly, in jeopardy after she’s assigned to a new dorm with a new roommate.
So it seems that Leighton’s bad girl vibes are being wisely considered for other roles, and in a teen thriller, Leighton as a bad girl will probably do very well. And to amp up her bad girl vibe, Leighton has been styled in a grunge look with streaky highlighted hair that is considerably more shades lighter than her normal look. And I have to say, this streaky blonde look is a great look for Leighton, and shows the world she isn’t just a pretty Upper East Sider after all.
To get this kind of color, you want to ask your stylist for large chunky highlights that are brighter than your undertone. Use a medium shade such as a very light brown as your foundation tone, and highlight this was large golden streaks for this multi toned look.
To get the sleek and straight look that Leighton has here, you want to start off with the same layered cut that she has.
