Kirsten Dunst is seen here as she meets two female friends for lunch at the Vegan Glory restaurant in Los Angeles on Beverly Boulevard. And by most accounts, Kirsten almost pulls off the look she is attempting, and is getting closer to looking like an actual celebrity. But my suggestion is still that Kirsten invest some of her hard earned film dollars to get a stylist, or a personal shopper, that can help her actually look like a celebrity, instead of almost like one.

Kirsten is growing her hair out here, and I like the textured layers that are starting to appear, as this is giving her fine, lackluster locks some volume and movement, something she desperately needs. But what is with the almost sailor dress and the shoes that um, look like she borrowed them from Mary Poppins. *sigh* Well, improvement is good, and at least she is *almost* getting there. This hairstyle that Kirsten is featuring is almost Kate Hudson-esque, which proves that Kate’s timeless look really can work on anyone. Even someone as mousy as Kirsten Dunst.

To get this cut, you need to grow your hair out to medium length or longer, with your hair falling a few inches below your shoulders, but not much more. Ask your stylist for a textured cut with layers along the top and the sides, and you want your stylist to give you concave layers that will allow your hair to fall forward and frame your face.

Once you achieve the cut, the styling and maintenance will almost take care of itself if your hair is cut properly. You will only need a little bit of pomade on towel dried hair and a blow dryer to style this fresh look with plenty of movement. You can choose to either blow dry with your hair upside down, or use a large round brush to blow dry from roots to ends, and either method will ensure you maximize volume and movement.
